Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how HMGi, the studio operated by Haze Media Group LLC ("HMGi," "we," or "us"), collects, uses, retains, and discloses information when you visit www.hmgintelligence.com or submit information through it.

HMGi is a Kansas City studio that builds AI and automation systems and custom websites. This Policy applies to anyone who visits the site or sends us an inquiry through it.

"HMGi," "we," and "us" in this Policy refer to Haze Media Group LLC, doing business as HMGi, a studio based in Kansas City, Missouri.

Information we collect

Information you provide

When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you choose to include: your name, email address, phone number, state of residence, the type of project or interest you select, and your message. We also record the time of submission and the IP address it was sent from, for abuse prevention and basic recordkeeping.

Information collected automatically

When you visit pages on www.hmgintelligence.com, our first-party analytics records the following to operate and improve the site:

• Network identifiers: your IP address and a session identifier generated locally in your browser.
• Device and environment: your user-agent string, viewport dimensions, device type (mobile, tablet, or desktop), and the language reported by your browser.
• Behavior: which pages you visit, scroll depth, time spent on sections, clicks on identified elements (with their coordinates, so we can build aggregate heatmaps), referrer domain, and any utm_source, utm_medium, or utm_campaign parameters present in the URL.
• Performance: page load timings reported by your browser (time-to-first-byte, DOMContentLoaded, largest contentful paint), used to diagnose slow pages.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta (Facebook) Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any third-party advertising or behavioral tracking service. All analytics data is collected directly by HMGi and stored on infrastructure we control.

Cookies and local storage

We use a small number of first-party cookies and one localStorage entry. No third-party cookies are set by this site, and no advertising cookies are used.

• _pvc_vid: a randomly generated visitor identifier, valid for one year, used to distinguish unique visitors in analytics aggregates.
• _pvc_sid: a session identifier scoped to the current browser session and cleared when the tab is closed.
• pvc_dash: set only when an administrator logs into the dashboard; not present for ordinary visitors.
• pvc_no_track: set when you use the per-device opt-out below. When present, all analytics collection is skipped for that browser.

How we use information

We use information collected through this site for the following purposes:

• To respond to inquiries you submit through the contact form and route them to the right person.
• To operate, secure, and improve the website itself, including detecting abuse, debugging errors, and understanding which content visitors find useful.
• To keep basic business records of the inquiries we receive.

We do not use information collected through this website for behavioral advertising, audience modeling, lookalike targeting, or marketing personalization, and we do not sell information to advertising networks or data brokers.

When we share information

We share information only with the limited set of service providers we need to run the site and handle inquiries:

• Hosting and infrastructure: the providers that serve the website and store its data.
• Email notification: when you submit the contact form, a copy of your submission is emailed to us so we see it and can reply.
• Backups: encrypted backup copies of our data are stored so we can recover from a server failure.

We may disclose information when required by law, valid legal process, or to respond to a credible threat to the safety of any person.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long we keep information

• Contact form submissions are kept for as long as we need them to respond to your inquiry and to keep basic business records. We delete them on request.
• Raw analytics events (per-page-view, per-click, and per-scroll rows) are retained for 90 days. After 90 days they are aggregated into daily summary statistics that contain no individual user details, and the raw rows are deleted automatically.
• Backup snapshots are retained for the operational period of the data they cover.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Know what categories of personal information we have collected about you and how we use them.
• Request access to a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of that information.
• Opt out of the limited sharing described above.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@hazemediagroup.com with enough detail for us to find your records. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Universal opt-out signals. Our site honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and the legacy Do Not Track (DNT) header. If your browser is set to send either, our analytics will not record your visit, and no opt-out cookie is required.

Per-device opt-out. You can also opt out directly on this device using the control below.

Children

This website is intended for adults and for people evaluating our services for their business. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided information through this site, contact us at hello@hazemediagroup.com and we will delete it.

Security

Traffic to www.hmgintelligence.com is encrypted in transit using TLS. Submissions and analytics are stored on infrastructure we control and are accessible only to authorized people. We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted on the page. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
